I am soon to be mum to baby number 2. I found sleep pretty rough with baby number 1 for about the first 7 or 8 months. I think particularly around the 5 month mark there was a bit of sleep regression (in baby) that I was not mentally prepared for. Trying to think about how it make it better for myself this time around. A lot of sleep advice comes from ways of trying to control the baby’s sleep, sleep training etc. rather than focusing on what the parent can do to maximise their sleep if they have a bit of help (which I do!).
